The Tyneside Baseball & Softball Association was founded in 2007 and is a community sports organisation which aims to bring these two great team sports to Newcastle Gateshead and the surrounding area.
Building the association up over time, we hope eventually to provide recreational and competitive opportunities for both men and women, and for children and young people from age 7 upwards, in baseball and softball.
Anyone (women and men) with an interest in the sports is warmly invited to get in touch with us, or to attend our Sunday afternoon open practice games (indoor until April/May - see the sessions page for details).
Whether you're an experienced player, a beginner, a coach, a teacher, or a potential organiser - we'd love you to come and join us.
We hope to start a mixed softball league this year, and to attend a few weekend tournaments. We probably won't be playing competitive baseball for a while yet - but it's definitely on our to-do list.
